All BLOK dancers are currently members of the Rangers FC Professional Cheerleading Squad. The Squad entertain crowds in excess of 50,000 fans at Ibrox Stadium at every Rangers home game, which include Clydesdale Bank Premier League, Champions League, UEFA Cup, Scottish Cup & CIS Insurance Cup games. BLOK Dance Manager Kay Lang also choreographs all the routines & manages the Cheerleading Squad.

BLOK Professional Dance Troupe have an annual contract with Colours, performing at all major festivals - Glasgow, Loch Lomand and Edinburgh. the dancers also perform in nightclubs including the following: Tunnel Nightclub Glasgow, Liquid Aberdeen, Jumpin Jaks Glasgow, Aberdeen and Dumfries, Evolution Edinburgh and Clubland Stirling.

Blok Dance Troupe are fully commited in raising funds for charities throughout Scotland. The dancers are proud to take part and get a great sense of achievement by helping to raise funds and awareness. Blok have helped many charities throughout 2008 and hope to continue this in the up and coming years. Health and fitness and dance performance is a major aspect in the troupe's training regime, The dancers train hard and enjoy working with chidren and adults in the BLOK dance workshops. The workshops are a huge success and very popular with all age groups participating in all styles of dance.BLOK strive to create a fun enviroment by motivating and building self esteem in young aspiring dancers. The dancers love the chance to share their passion and enthusiasm for dance with the community.

BLOK performed and supported all the players at BBC Sport Your Game at Glasgow Green on the 5th of August.

MOBO AWARDS BBC PRESS CONFERENCE

Move Like Michael Jackson
BLOK Pro Dance Troupe have been successful in reaching the studio semi final of BBC3's new TV show Move Like Michael Jackson. The 8 BLOK members representing the troupe were invited to audition for the show in front of judge and renowned Casting Director Mark Summers. BLOK were selected from thousands of dancers from all over the UK to compete against the other final 15 acts. The show, which will air on Monday the 14th December, is a hunt to find Britain's best MJ-inspired dance act and the chance to perform at the official 2010 Michael Jackson tribute in front of...THE WORLD! The girls are currently in London training and working with the shows choreographers including Lavelle Smith Jnr who was MJ's own choreographer for over 21years. BLOK have already been featured in various newspapers and as the girls are the only all female crew on the show and the only Scottish act we are looking for support from the whole country. The first show will be broadcast on BBC3 on Monday the 14th at 8:30pm so stay tuned and show us some support!
